This part of the sea voyage lasted from 1-4 December, overing a distance of 1,480 nautical miles. The sea was quite rough with 3m waves. It was actually impossible for me to hold onto the walls and my stick and carry a plate of food at the same time when attempting to have breakfast in the all-day buffet area. The staff were unfailingly helpful and were only too happy to help. We were pretty relieved to arrive in Walvis Bay in Namibia and the adventure that awaited us.
Meanwhile, we continued to be royally entertained so here are just some of the excellent shows that we enjoyed in the Cabaret Lounge on several occasions, and also some memories of the first of two Quest White Night Evening parties put on by the Captain and crew on near the end of the Spanish leg of our journey.
